served as Del Mar racetracks head veterinarian. Her mother Katie Jocoy was an avid Opera fan and amateur golfer. Both parents were fascinated with antiques, art, and folk art. Jan Jessie Jocoy's grandparent's on her father's side were Winnifred-Mae and Jesse Earl Jocoy resided in downtown Del Mar, where Saint Peter's Episcopal church's administrative office is now located. Jan Jessi Jocoy's grandparents on her mother's side, were Evelyn and Thomas 0' Rourke. They were opera fans and Thomas O' Rourke and his second wife, Dorothy resided in Vista CA.
